About Teaspoon of Love (TOL)
Nourishing Communities, One Meal at a Time
Teaspoon of Love (TOL) is a family-centered, culturally rooted wellness initiative that bridges the gap between food access and food utilization. Our mission is to make healthy living approachable, adaptable, and deeply connected to culture, helping families turn what’s available in their kitchens into meals that heal, connect, and inspire.
We believe that health isn’t individual, it’s collective. When families cook, learn, and share together, entire communities thrive.
Launched by iCreate Productions, TOL was created to close the gap between wellness education and real-world food experiences. From bilingual cookbooks to community cooking activations, TOL blends tradition, nutrition, and creativity to empower households with the knowledge and confidence to prepare nourishing meals that fit their lives and cultures.
Our Mission
To empower communities through food by combining nutrition, culture, and education into fun, flavorful, and affordable cooking experiences. We make healthy eating accessible to every family, one recipe and one relationship at a time.
Why We Exist
In many communities, access to food doesn’t always mean access to health. Barriers like limited cooking skills, rising food costs, and a lack of culturally relevant guidance make it harder for families to turn ingredients into balanced meals.
Teaspoon of Love was built to change that, by creating approachable, evidence-based, and culturally meaningful programs that help families reconnect with the joy and power of cooking.
We:
-
Strengthen food literacy, especially in underserved communities.
-
Teach practical cooking skills rooted in African, Hispanic, and Asian traditions.
-
Support health equity by making wellness approachable and sustainable.
-
Foster community connection through shared food stories and experiences.
Who We Serve
We collaborate with schools, nonprofits, municipalities, health organizations, and community leaders who are working to make wellness more inclusive, joyful, and culturally relevant.
Whether you’re a program manager building a new outreach effort or a parent trying to cook healthier meals, TOL offers the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to make lasting change.
Join The Movement
Whether through our cookbooks, Veggie Q events, or family cooking experiences, TOL is helping communities eat better, live well, and build stronger connections around the table.
Let’s bridge the gap between food access and food utilization together.
